Vito E-CELL on Blue Energy Tour

The Blue Energy Tour has started on the 16th of July in Magdeburg and leads through 24 cities. The tour is organized by the electro specialist wholesaler Solar Deutschland and is supported by Mercedes-Benz. The visitors of the Blue Energy Truck learn more about energy-efficient products and technologies for all application areas and buildings.

These products are solar modules, air-heating pumps, lamps with motion sensors or overall solutions like facility management systems automatising the electric power consumption. Further, visitors can train themselves in the Info-Truck. They can also download the “Blue Energy Challenge” app and test their own knowledge. Visitors can also get help from a Blue Energy detective. This detective searches for possible saving potentials in the buildings.

Besides the big truck and the A-Class E-CELL, the Vito E-CELL takes part in the tour as a van and an estate wagon. Due to its range of 130 km and actual load of about 850 kg the Vito E-CELL is qualified for urban transporting tasks as well as for distribution of goods. At the Blue Energy Tour the emission-free Vito E-CELL estate wagon has not only a representative role: visitors can also go for a test drive.
