Gigantic tunnel drilling machines, massive cable excavators and intelligent van concepts: The world’s construction industry gathers again at this year’s “Bauma” construction machinery exhibition in Munich. The trade fair is regarded worldwide as the leading platform for experts for construction and construction material machines, construction vehicles and equipment as well as mining machinery. A visit to the Bauma is just the right thing for everyone whose heart races at the sight of excavators and bulldozers.
With the motto “Strong. On every terrain.” Mercedes-Benz also demonstrates its spectrum of vehicles for the construction industry from the Atego to the Zetros. Mercedes-Benz presents 22 vehicles on 2,100 square meters. They offer everything one needs and their imposing dimensions make it obvious that these vehicles are designed to handle exceptional challenges on a daily basis.
Naturally, the Mercedes-Benz exhibits also include vans such as the Sprinter, Vito and Citan. The Sprinter with its vast range of versions is a common sight on construction sites. Its smaller brother, the Vito panel van as the Mixto variant also demonstrates its capabilities: it easily transports both people and material at the same time. With the spacious workshop fittings, the Citan also shows what it can do with its compact dimensions. When it comes to bodies and conversions, Mercedes-Benz offers the complete service from a single source with “Van Solution”: customized body solutions from renowned manufacturers available directly from the factory and with the full guarantee.
The Bauma is open to the public from 11th to 17th April. In addition to more than 3,400 exhibitors on 575,000 square meters, numerous expert discussions and country specials round out the program.
