Freshly washed, polished to a high shine and with the star at the front. At first glance the vehicle parked in the courtyard of the workshop in the small southern England town of Broad Chalke looks like a “normal” Mercedes-Benz van. But only at first glance! Because the wow effect follows a moment later. The Managing Director Dave Clark opens the electric side door of the Senzati Jet Sprinter: the interior contains a complete luxury suite: Comfortable individual leather seats – with a layout for up to 6 passengers. An on-board bar, first-class entertainment and climate control systems. Combined with massive side windows and a two meter long glass roof with intelligent double glazing which smoothly darkens in only a fraction of a second. An electric sliding door provides access to the washroom with on-board toilet. Alternatively, the luxury Sprinter is also available as a mobile office, a hotel room with a double bed or in any other desired configuration.
Originally, Dave Clark just wanted to buy a van for himself. However, his specific requirements were extremely demanding. He wanted travelling comfort beyond the boundaries of what even premium vehicles had to offer. It had to be a Mercedes-Benz. All of the conversion was needed to be tested and approved by the manufacturer. However, a vehicle like this simply did not exist. Anywhere in the world. That is why he has been building his own mobile luxury suite since 2013, together with his 12-man Senzati team. Their motto: build the world’s most luxurious passenger transporters – senza limiti: with no limits. When they take a look inside the production floor, customers immediately see what this means: The entire side wall of the brand-new Sprinter is completely replaced with the company’s own construction. To what end? The side door and the access to the passenger compartment are moved 780 millimeters to the rear. This means that passengers getting in and out of the Senzati Jet Sprinter do not have to struggle past or even climb over each other to move around.
Customers who want to purchase a Senzati Jet Sprinter have to wait for at least twelve weeks. Every mobile luxury suite is the product of 1,500 hours of work. Not including the days which the Senzati team has spent developing and testing the body solution in closer and closer collaboration with Mercedes-Benz experts. The reward: all of the conversions and installations have been tested and approved by the brand with the star. The Senzati Jet Sprinter is fully approved as a nine-person class personnel transporter. Senzati now converts Mercedes-Benz V-Class vehicles into luxury transport vehicles. These are the “little brother” of the Jet Sprinter.
