Bikes drive Sprinter!

The blue Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.

With its Sprinter, the Superfiets team discovers old racing bikes in the most remote locations. Back in Hamburg they breathe new life into these classics.

How many bikes fit in one Sprinter?

The Sprinter brings them back from almost anywhere. In their former lives they cruised the coastal roads in Tuscany, raced in the Tour de France or challenged red double-decker buses during London’s rush hour. The retro bikes all have a history! This is apparent at first glance. The design is classic. They reflect the style of an epoch. That is why they are a status symbol in major cities such as Hamburg or Berlin. Racing bikes from the 70s, 80s and 90s belong to the lifestyle of an entire generation.

Nos casamos! Getting married!

In 2013 it was time for a new Sprinter. And what better occasion to fittingly farewell the old van than the journey to their own wedding? Gloria and Jürgen spent four weeks travelling in the Sprinter. Always on board: their racing bikes. Their destination was Toledo, Gloria’s hometown. This is where the two got married.  Today Superfiets is on the road with a new, bright red Sprinter. “I prefer striking colours. The Sprinter always serves as our mobile background when we photograph our racing bikes”, says Jürgen Frese. The soon-to-be father also has the perfect reason for purchasing a new van: “We expect another passenger in just one month. That’s why the new Sprinter needed to be a three-seater. The child seat is ready and waiting.”
