David Fackler spends every free minute in the air: but not in a cockpit or beneath a parachute but rather floating above the seat of his mountain bike. The 34-year-old has made his passion into his profession. Fackler is an Account Manager at Cannondale, a premium bicycle manufacturer. He supports selected bicycle specialists in southern Bavaria. “My region stretches from south of Ingolstadt to Lake Constance to Berchtesgaden”, says the native of Munich. “My Mercedes-Benz Vito from CharterWay always keeps me mobile when I travel to customers.”
Both the technical sophistication and the exceptional appearance with the single front fork, known as the lefty, distinguish the Cannondale models. Over the years, the brand has made a name for itself among ambitious athletes, in particular mountain bikers and cyclists. “The German bicycle market is extremely competitive”, says David Fackler. “The trend toward e-bikes is clearly noticeable. Those who ignore that trend will lose.” Although he believes that the future belongs to bikes with electric drives, the passionate mountain biker still peddles his bike under his own power. Preferably on descents such as the one in Bikepark Samerberg, located not far from Rosenheim.

He appreciates his Vito’s comfortable seats and excellent handling. David Fackler received his Vito from CharterWay a year ago. He has driven more than 40,000 kilometers since then. “Quality and innovation distinguish both our bikes and also Mercedes-Benz”, says David Fackler.
