In particular, the appearance of the front section is modified. This includes the bumper, the radiator grille and the headlights. Underneath the hood of the revised models, new CDI engines ranging from 60 kW (82 hp) to 115 kW (156 hp) power the Sprinter. The common rail injection technology adopted from the passenger vehicle sector provides greater power and helps the vehicles to comply with the exhaust gas emission limits. In 2002, Mercedes-Benz rapidly reacts to the calls for greater traffic safety and presents the first ever ESP (electronic stability program) for vans. In addition, the completely revised powertrain, the new front section and the window bags available as an optional extra all ensure greater safety.

In addition to the driver and passenger airbags, integrated window bags guarantee optimum impact protection.

The broad range of models and engines that the Sprinter 313 CDI has to offer convinces a vast number of customers.

The 313 CDI can transport up to 1,555 kg.

With a total length of up to 6.58 m, the Sprinter 313 CDI provides plenty of cargo space.
