Safety as a standard feature

Regardless of whether the vehicle is a Sprinter, a Vito or a Citan: The integrated driver assistance systems make the vans with the star safer than ever before. The COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST provides the driver with a visual and acoustic warning of possible collisions with other vehicles. The Blind Spot Assist’s sensors help drivers to monitor their blind spot. In addition, the High-Beam Assist serves to prevent oncoming traffic from being blinded in situations with poor visibility. When gusts of wind from the side threaten to throw the vehicle off course, the Crosswind Assist activates the electronic stability program, ESP. It specifically brakes the wheels, counteracting the effects of the crosswind. Features such as these demonstrate why Mercedes-Benz vans have long set the standards in safety and comfort.
